“Hannah called it.”

Since the end of Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus has come out saying that not only was she underpaid on the show but also her true identity as not the clean-cut, All-American, pop princess and an ordinary girl was hidden to keep her Hannah Montana image clean.

In our project, we used selective stealing to create a video collage that emphasizes how Hannah Montana lyrics were a foreshadow to the post-Hannah Montana Miley Cyrus. Although not all songs are used, we did select at least two songs from every Hannah Montana album and a collection of videos and images throughout the past seven years since the demise of Hannah Montana and the rise of the “real” Miley.

Within this video, viewers get to see a variety of Miley’s looks and actions, and viewers get to hear the ironic lyrics that go along with Miley living the life, holding on tight, and living the dream. Maybe you could say she’s lived the best of both worlds, once your adolescent role model and now your true, wild, provocative queen.
